Many pastors and ministry leaders have experienced this:
You preach faithfully.
You offer prayer and care.
You provide opportunities for growth.
And yet some people still seem stuck. Others grow for a time but then face unexpected setbacks. Still others gradually disengage — or disappear altogether.
Often, trauma is part of the story — even when it isn’t obvious.
Trauma can shape how people experience relationships, respond to stress, and engage with the very spiritual resources that are meant to help them.

This breakfast is a relaxed conversation for local ministry leaders who want to better understand how trauma affects people in our churches — and how we can respond in ways that help people move toward healing and spiritual growth.
It’s a small gathering designed for conversation, learning, and connection.
You’ll Gain
• A clearer understanding of trauma and its spiritual impact
• Insight into why traditional approaches sometimes fall short
• Practical ways to care well for people carrying deep wounds
• Encouragement for your own ministry
